3D Cell Models 2018/2019 Year

Had my students work in groups to design either a model of a plant or animal cell. This was NO easy task, in particular ordering the supplies and cleanup. Posters accompanied

Prep Work

The big ball is about 60-70cm. That’s half the battle. I had to heat up a saw to cut and melt a half section. The annoying part is that inside is not filled with styrofoam, it’s filled with tiny balls =(. I inhaled quite a bit of melted styrofoam smoke…. but at least I did it in the fume hood.
