The Blue Ridge Coal Company is a new HO Scale limited edition craftsman/laser kit. This is a very special kit and because of that this limited run will be 200 kits. The tipple is based on a prototype in New York State that would have seen its hayday at the turn of the century. Photos taken in the 1970s show a weathered and dilapidated structure. The Blue Ridge Coal Company can really be set in any era on any layout and be a focal point for your railroad.
I first saw the wooden coal tipple at an NMRA event in Woodstock, Ontario. It was built by Les Kauffeldt and I knew it was a winner when I first saw it across the contest room. Les won that competition and now you have the potential to build an award winning diorama with the Blue Ridge Coal Company.
This kit will allow you to take your modelling to a new level with brand new building jigs and techniques. This complicated looking kit goes together with such simplicity you will be amazed at your results.

The North American Bent Chair Company

At one time the original North American Bent Chair Company was located in the busy port of Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada. The Chair Company boasted that at one time it was the largest chair manufacturer in the entire British Dominion. I compressed the kit down to 14 inches from a scale 4 feet! You have the option to add as many 3 panel sections if you want a longer background kit. (Contact me if you would like to purchase extra panels for your background kit). Each 3 panel section measures 7 inches in length and comes with all the windows, back and roof panels.
NOTE: I have made several changes based on modeler’s requests and to stream line your purchases. I orginally only offered this kit as a background kit but found 2 interesting trends emerge:
1. About half of the modelers who have purchasd the kit have wanted to create a full kit that was not a background kit but a kit that was fully etched and detailed on all 4 sides.
2. Modelers that wanted the kit as a background kit have been confused by the button to add more panels and therefore I removed that button. If you would like to stretch out your background kit please contact me for and we can discuss how many extra panels you would like and what the small additional cost would be.

The Bowling Alley is an HO scale premium craftsman style kit based on an Art Deco design. This is a great kit because it is manufactured using materials the average Craftsman has never worked with before. The walls are made up of a thick cardboard that allows them to be laser etched with random brick patterns. You also get an opportunity to work with a putty to simulate stucco.
This kit would fit in with any era from the 1930′s on. It would make for a great conversation piece when your friends see your layout … everyone has had a dad or mom that bowled years ago and it would be a trip down memory lane for you.
The kit includes enough material to create 1 large rooftop billboard and 1 small wall-mounted billboard.

Does your layout need a Boatworks waterfront kit? The R.G. Shinnie Boatworks is named after Greg Shinnie the kitbasher who created the first prototype. Greg captured the feel of a waterfront/wharf scene that could be classified as a classic design.
The kit contains the following parts and innovations:
Clapboard Siding (also included are enough wall shakes to completely cover the building … if you are after a more prototypical marine building)
Customizable boat door openings are laser scribed on the wall sections to add variety and choice for the modeler. (NOTE: you can have upto 3 large boat door openings)
Dormers can be placed in different locations.
Wharf construction is made simple with a laser cut jig to hold pilings in place while you assembly 4 x 10 bracing and 2 x 8 deck bracing.
Resin & Metal Castings (12 seagulls {you gotta have seagulls by the shore}, a big tuna {the boat builders occasionally cast a line in the water when they test out the boats}, steam winch, 3 lightening rods, brick chimney, 2 smoke jack vents, gas pump, cleats, fire hose, life buoy, various barrels and crates to add a cluttered feeling.
A one piece cast resin block foundation supports the Boatworks. It is easily cut and modified when choosing you large boat door openings.
